Pwned the 3-Point Contest
Hey guys.. well tonight has been a pretty sweet night. I was just over at the SERF (a big gym where I play basketball and workout sometimes) and was doing a little 3-Point Contest for UW Intramural Sports. So the news is that I won! Yep, thats right, I will be facing off against the guy who got second in the contest at the SERF. I scored 23 points and the other noob only had 21 points. Here is a link to the contest description: http://www.recsports.wisc.edu/imsports/pdf/info_3pointfreethrow.pdf and here is a link to the rules (in case you don’t really know how the 3-point contest goes): http://www.recsports.wisc.edu/imsports/pdf/rules_3pointcontest.pdf…. so anyways, since I had the most points, I will be facing off the other guy at….. the KOHL CENTER!!! yeah, that’s right… it will be during halftime of one of the men’s badger basketball games that are coming up soon.. i’m not sure which one or any of the details yet, but i think i’ll be getting an email soon, so I’ll let you guys know.. just in case you want to get some tickets and come down to madison that day…. and just to explain it a little better, and so you get an idea of where the racks are and what it looks like, here is a picture of a 3-point contest below.. there is actually only five balls in each rack for my contest, and our money ball didn’t have the cool globetrotters color..
You guys can probably watch me on tv if you can’t make it to the game, but you have to get the big ten network or find someone who has it…. alright, well i got to get to bed.. long day tomorrow + i’ll be on the lookout for the boc… later guys…

Glow-n-Throw
So last week, I heard about a disc golf tournament going on this past Saturday. I thought, whoa this is gonna be freezing cold, but I want to play anyway. Then, I read that one round would be in the afternoon, and the second round would be played after dark.
So I went, paid my $25 entry fee, and threw a 1-over-par round of 55. Went to Qdoba for a burrito, then back to the course. I had to buy a pack of glow sticks for $3, and attached them to my discs. Then we went back out into the pitch black, freezing cold night, and I threw a -1 round of 53 (with a few amazing makes, one from 75 feet and through the trees).
So we get the scores together, and I find out that I WIN my division. Pretty sweet. I got a trophy and $48 dollars to put toward some merchandise. I think I’m gonna get a new bag, and maybe another disc. We’ll see.

Hey guys… just a little update for you.. well, PwnerAlex and I ordered some sweet pwnerbball shoes from Eastbay that will make us run faster and jump higher and whatnot… but everyone knows we can do that already, so we’re not sure how much they will help, anyways, I just received the tracking number if you want to find out when we’ll be getting them (mainly for Alex)… Ok, well I’m off to class, see ya later!

Hey guys, just found another sweet arse deal for you. Dealnews.com did their secure digital roundup and there are some nice deals on the micro SD cards… that is if you are cool and have or are getting the Touch Pro (i hope i am…). So the 4 GB card is $8.95 and the 8GB is $19.99! I have been looking at these for awhile, and they are the lowest they have been. However, if you don’t really need one now, I would suggest waiting, because the 16 GB ones are getting cheaper and I think the 32 GB will be available soon. And from there, 64GB and all the rest are not that far off. My guess that by Christmas, the 8 GB will be down to somewhere below $15. But even then, the difference is only about 5 bucks, so i say that it is a good time to buy! (FREE SHIPPING!)
